unable to connect to visual studio's localhost web server error
I have been using Visual Studio since last 3.5 years now. This is a very first time I have received this error message. I have searched a lot but nothing helped.
Possible Solutions
1. Disabling firewall.
2. Make sure that the file WebDev.WebServer.EXE at C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 exists. If not, copy it from another computer which has Visual Studio 2005 installed.
Unfortunately, none of above solutions worked for me. I suspect it may be the virus activities. But not sure. I am now trying to reinstall the visual studio and will see if it solves the problem.
